Victim in Sunday's Fatal Shooting on Syracuse's West Side Identified

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The victim of Sunday night's fatal shooting on Richmond Avenue in Syracuse has been identified as 21-year-old Khalil Howard of Syracuse.

Officers responded to the 300 block after 11 p.m., then found Howard shot in the chest. Police said he died a short time later.

Police said detectives continue to work on the case, but at this time, no suspect information has been released.
