Today will be the last of the possible record warmth, at least in this stretch, with temperatures climbing well into the 80s. The record high for today is 88 set in 1920.
A cold front will arrive this evening with clouds and a few passing showers, possibly a thundershower. Any showers will end early tonight with partial clearing. It will be cooler with lows in the low to mid 50s. Tomorrow will be seasonably cool with sun mixed with clouds and highs in the mid to upper 60s. A reinforcing push of cooler temps will arrive Friday with clouds and showers for the second half of the day. Highs will be in the low to mid 60s. High pressure will return Saturday with some sun and highs only around 60. Sunday will be sunny and seasonable with highs in the mid to upper 60s.
